This journal is principally aimed at publishing significant discoveries in the field of cell and chromosome research.

It includes topics of particular interest but are not limited to genomics, epigenetics, genetic toxicology, chromosome evolution, cytogenetics, molecular genetics, population and evolutionary genetics; developmental and stress biology; transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics as well as bioinformatics and computational biology are encouraged.
