Aims & Scope

The journal of Research in Western Iranian Languages and Dialects (RWILD) is published quarterly to support research in languages and dialects spoken in western Iranian provinces in particular and theoretical papers related to more general issues in human language.

The aims of the journal of Research in Western Iranian Languages and Dialects (RWILD) include:

Promoting Research and Documentation: To encourage and disseminate research on Western Iranian languages and dialects, fostering a deeper understanding of their linguistic features, historical development, and sociolinguistic contexts. To document lesser-studied languages and dialects, contributing to the preservation of linguistic diversity and cultural heritage.

Interdisciplinary Approaches and Collaboration: To facilitate interdisciplinary studies that explore the intersections of linguistics with anthropology, history, literature, and cultural studies. To promote collaboration among researchers from different regions and backgrounds to enhance the quality and scope of research in this field.

Platform for Scholars and Educational Resource: To provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to share their findings, methodologies, and insights related to Western Iranian languages.
