Aims & Scope

The journal Investigaciones Turísticas is published twice a year, in June and December, by the University Institute of Tourism Research at the University of Alicante with the goal of fostering research, reflection and understanding of tourism.

It publishes open access research articles that interpret tourism from original, interdisciplinary approaches that represent innovative contributions.

Investigaciones Turísticas publishes rigorous theoretical and empirical research papers in the field of the tourism.

It is aimed at established and novice academic researchers who wish to disseminate their work through scientific publication.

The journal welcomes articles and book reviews.
