Aims & Scope

Global Business Languages publishes original, peer-reviewed articles that make a significant contribution to the field of Business Language Studies. Embracing a broad definition of business, we welcome submissions in a variety of related interdisciplinary subfields within Language for Specific Purposes (LSP), such as language for the arts, law, health sciences, engineering, etc.. We particularly welcome articles that are theoretically framed or empirically driven, and that offer new perspectives, and/or refine or challenge current practices in LSP. Contributions may pertain to any language, including English for non-native speakers.

Our scope includes: Language for Specific Purposes (LSP), Business Language Studies, interdisciplinary subfields such as language for the arts, law, health sciences, engineering, and more. We welcome submissions that offer new perspectives, refine or challenge current practices, and are theoretically framed or empirically driven.

Our aim is to: publish original, peer-reviewed articles that contribute significantly to the field of Business Language Studies. We strive to provide a platform for scholars to share their research and ideas, and to foster a community of scholars who are passionate about Business Language Studies.
