Derecho Animal (Forum of Animal Law Studies), is an electronic publication promoted by ICALP (International Center for Animal Law and Policy) at the Law Faculty of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Founded in 2009 by Marita Giménez-Candela, it is the first legal publication dedicated to interdisciplinary studies on human-animal relations, and relies on wide dissemination across the international landscape.

Its basic aim is to publish and share original investigation and rigorous technical works in Animal Law and other related sciences (Animal Welfare Science, Public Policy relating to animals, Ethics, Nutrition, Education, Assisted Therapy with Animals, Cultural History).

Its contents include all fields of investigation in Animal Law, and explore the interdisciplinary frontiers (theoretical and practical) in the ambit of human-animal relations.
