Aims & Scope
The Bulletin of the European Association of Fish Pathologists (EAFP) is a means of communicating scientific news via concise, peer-reviewed articles on original findings concerning health and welfare of fish, shellfish, crustaceans and other aquatic species.
These can include studies of infectious and non-infectious diseases, diagnostics, histopathology, host-pathogen interactions, vaccination and immunology, toxicology, therapeutics, animal welfare, epidemiology, and treatments.
If there is doubt over whether your manuscript is in scope, please submit a brief abstract to the Editor-in-Chief (Publications Officer) for an initial decision.
The taxonomic identification of species must be robust and supported by molecular analyses using relevant identification markers where appropriate, and relevant number of specimens analysed.
The genetic sequences must be deposited in GenBank, or a similar repository, and accession numbers provided at submission of the manuscript.
