Aims & Scope

The Atelie Geografico Journal is a quarterly publication of the Graduate Program in Geography of the Institute of Social and Environmental Studies (IESA), of the Federal University of Goias (UFG), Brazil, with blind peer-reviewed scientific articles in the field of Geography and related Sciences, such as History, Education, Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, Anthropology, Sociology, Tourism and Urban and Regional Planning, and Interdisciplinary approaches, but not limited to them.

The Atelie Journal is concerned with the study of the complexities that permeate and affect the relations between ‘humans’ and the contemporary urban and rural spaces, territories, landscapes, natural resources, and the production systems.

The Journal publishes papers on the basis of their academic and scientific merits, knowledge contribution, and originality.

No fees are charged from the contributors at any reviewing or publishing stages.

The Atelie Geografico Journal also has as a mission to integrate research projects and researchers by creating a multidisciplinary platform and networks in benefit of the intellectual and scientific production.
