Aims & Scope

The Yearbook of European Law (YEL) is OUP’s flagship journal on the law of the European Union.

It is committed to the highest academic standards and aims to provide comprehensive and critical analysis of topical and classical issues within the law of the European Union.

It encourages diverse theoretical approaches to towards the study of European law – ranging from purely doctrinal to interdisciplinary and comparative perspectives.

The YEL publishes within all areas of European Union law, including European constitutional law, internal market law, European competition law and European private law.
