Aims & Scope

The scientific journal Languages ​​and Folklore of Indigenous Peoples of Siberia of the Institute of Philology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IPL SB RAS) is a continuation of the collection of scientific articles Languages ​​of Indigenous Peoples of Siberia, which was published from 1995 to 2010.

Since 2013, the journal Languages ​​and Folklore of Indigenous Peoples of Siberia has been an independent scientific periodical, and since 2023 it has been published as an online publication.

The purpose of the publication “Languages ​​and Folklore of the Indigenous Peoples of Siberia” is to disseminate advanced scientific knowledge about the linguistic processes and folklore traditions of the peoples of Siberia and adjacent regions.
