Aims & Scope
Written Language and Literacy will be concerned with linguistic, psycholinguistic, educational and sociolinguistic accounts of the structure and functions of written language, the processes and acquisition of reading and writing, and the use and development of literacy in different social and cultural settings.
The journal focuses on scientific reports in areas such as theoretical linguistics and cognitive models of written language processes, reading and writing in educational contexts and in literacy campaigns, literacy and technology, and literacy as a marker relating to gender, ethnicity, and class.
