World Literature Studies is a scholarly journal published quarterly by Institute of World Literature, Slovak Academy of Sciences.
It publishes original, peer-reviewed scholarly articles and book reviews in the areas of general and comparative literature studies and translatology.
It was formerly known (1992—2008) as Slovak Review of World Literature Research.
The journal’s languages are Slovak, Czech, English and German.
Abstracts appear in English.
