Weave: Journal of Library User Experience
Published by Michigan Publishing (Journal Finder)
eISSN : 2333-3316
Abbreviation : Weav. J. Libr. User Exp.
Aims & Scope
Weave is a journal dedicated to improving the practice of User Experience (UX) in libraries. Our primary aim is to provide a forum for practitioners to discuss and extend their understanding of UX principles, research, and design, ultimately making libraries better, more relevant, and more accessible places.
We strive for a balance of theoretical and practical material, covering topics such as specific techniques, research methods, and debates on best practices. Our journal is open to a wide range of submissions, including research articles, case studies, and non-scholarly pieces, all of which are peer-reviewed to ensure quality and relevance.
We believe that UX is not limited to the web, and we encourage discussions on applying UX in physical spaces and other contexts. Our journal is also open access, with a Creative Commons Attribution license (CC-BY) allowing for maximum dissemination of our authors' work. We never charge authors to publish in Weave, and we strive to make our publishing process transparent to both authors and readers.
