Wagadu: Journal of Transnational Women's and Gender Studies
Published by SUNY Cortland
ISSN : 2150-2226 eISSN : 1545-6196
Abbreviation : Wagadu J. Transnatl. Women's Gend. Stud.
Aims & Scope
Extending our focus on gender in its diverse identities and expressions, our journal Wagadu is a forum for interdisciplinary feminist scholarship addressing issues of gender in its inevitable intersection with other social configurations such as race, place, and culture.
In our transnational platform, we foster dialog that reflects the myriad situations and experiences, particularly of African, Asian, and Latin American women, as they are shaped by geopolitical hierarchies and actively participate in decolonizing struggles.
Pushing for new approaches in feminist scholarship, Wagadu welcomes innovation in style and subject matter through our single-topic special volumes and our mixed general volumes.
As an open-source journal, we aim to serve as a productive resource for the broad community of feminist scholars at all professional and geographical locations.
