Aims & Scope

Founded in 1983 by Manuel Domínguez Miranda, Universitas Philosophica is a peer-reviewed journal of Philosophy, open to all the academic community, and an organ of communication of the academic, research, teaching, and professional service activities of the Faculty of Philosophy, at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota, Colombia.

Universitas Philosophica publishes original editions— or authorized re-editions— in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese every six months.

Contributions are evaluated by the Editorial Board and academic peer-reviewers in a double-blind system.

Universitas Philosophica reserves its right to accept or reject contributions following the recommendations of the Editorial Committee and the results of the review process.

Universitas Philosophica adheres to the copyright parameters established by the National Law and the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
