Aims & Scope
Two centuries of the Russian classics is a peer-reviewed open access scientific philological journal dedicated to topical problems of studying the national specifics of Russian classical literature, publishing fundamental research on the history and theory of Russian literature of the 18th – 19th centuries, textual criticism and source study.
The journal Two centuries of the Russian classics is designed for an international audience, it presents the works of Russian and foreign scientists, containing innovative explanations, comments, readings of both widely known and little-studied, virtually forgotten works of Russian classical literature.
The journal publishes articles that reveal the still unexplored questions of the poetics of the works of Russian literature of the indicated centuries, the peculiarities of the worldview of the Russian classics, the specifics of the literary process of the era, closely connected with the whole life of Russia, the problems of trends, methods and styles in Russian literature, generic and genre originality works.
Much attention in the publication is paid to comprehending the deep purpose of artistic creativity, spiritual and moral searches of writers.
