Aims & Scope
Natural Product Research and Development is a professional monthly academic journal approved by State Press and Publication Administration for official public circulation at home and abroad, which is the earliest publication reporting on natural products research and development in China and is jointly organized by Chengdu Library and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Diao Group Chengdu Pharmaceutical Company, National Engineering And Research Center for Natural Medicines.
The publication aims to report the latest achievements and wide use of natural product research, promote academic exchanges at home and abroad, strengthen the process of scientific research, development and production, and disseminate strategic, forward-looking and innovative scientific and technological achievements, to promote the development of science, technology and economy in China.
The publication is oriented to the frontier of contemporary life science research, with sections such as “Research Papers”, “Research Briefs”, “Development Research”, “Data Research” and “Review”.
The publication mainly publishes the innovative achievements in the research and development of bioactive natural products and medicinal animals and plants, especially the bioactivity, action mechanism, new extraction and separation methods of natural products, rapid separation and analysis of complex mixtures, structural transformation, biological synthesis and biotransformation, new synthetic methods, structure-activity relationship research and new activity evaluation methods of natural products, and the comprehensive utilization of natural products, which cover the fields of natural pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacy and molecular biology.
