Aims & Scope

The Polish Journal of Arts and Culture. New Series aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary and comparative research on cultural phenomena and civilisation. We seek to cooperate with scholars from various fields, including philology, history of religion, philosophy, and cultural anthropology, to share their reflections on cultural manifestations and civilisation.

We publish original research papers on open and thematic issues, as well as translations of works from ancient and modern literature. Our journal also features reviews, reports, and discussions on publications and events relevant to the wider discourse of cultural studies.

Our goal is to create a network of contacts and integrate the milieu of scholars involved in extensive, interdisciplinary cross-cultural studies. We aim to disseminate the output of research of Polish scholars internationally and give voice to those whose research may not find recipients due to its niche or narrow appeal.
