Aims & Scope

Health Research in Community is a journal that aims to promote community health and wellbeing through dissemination of quality research findings.

The journal emphasizes the importance of all aspects of research in and for community, including social justice principles, evidence-based strategies for promoting community health, social determinants of health, cultural influences, and community-based interventions on health outcomes and healthcare delivery.

Health Research in Community welcomes original research articles, reviews, case reports, editorial, and commentaries that address a wide range of topics related to community health, including health promotion, community-based interventions and programs, health disparities and social determinants of health, health policy and advocacy, health care management, health literacy and patient engagement, access to healthcare, aging health and gerontology, mental health and well-being, nutrition and healthy eating behavior in the community, capacity in public health systems and workforce, environmental health, occupational health, occupational medicine, ergonomics, medical entomology and vector control, and pathobiology.
