Sport History Review (SHR) is a forum for peer-reviewed scholarly work in the broad field of sport history.
Published since 1970, with an editorial review board that boasts members from around the world, SHR is committed to addressing topics of international interest.
Sport historians who teach or conduct research in an academic setting or others with special interests in sport history will appreciate SHR’s articles whose methods of analysis or application and appeal is universally and fundamentally relevant to the advancement of the history of sport.
SHR is published semiannually (May, November).
