Aims & Scope
Sociologisk Forskning is published by the Swedish Sociological Association with support from the Swedish Research Council.
The journal publishes scientific articles within the field of sociology, and is oriented towards researchers and others with an interest in the empirical, theoretical and methodological developments in sociology and the social sciences.
In Sociologisk Forskning, results from ongoing research projects and analyses of the theoretical and methodological developments within sociology are continously published.
The journal has a special focus on Swedish and Nordic society, and regularly publishes special issues on contemporary research areas.
The journal accepts contributions in Swedish, English, Norwegian and Danish.
Besides original research articles, the journal publishes reviews of Swedish and international literature in sociology and the social sciences.
Shorter debate pieces are also welcomed.
For scientific articles, Sociologisk Forskning adheres to a double-blind peer review process.
The quarterly journal was founded in 1964.
