Aims & Scope

Social and Emotional Learning: Research, Practice, and Policy is an independent, peer-reviewed journal sponsored by the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL). The journal is the primary international destination for research on the science, practice, and policy in the field of social and emotional learning (SEL).

The journal publishes high-quality articles on SEL research, practice, and policy, focusing on early childhood to post-secondary, as well as adult SEL, and SEL programming and practices that span multiple settings and contexts.

The journal features four main sections: Original Research, Perspectives, SEL in Practice, and SEL in Policy, each aiming to advance the field of SEL research, practice, and policy by publishing articles subject to masked peer-review.
