Aims & Scope
The journal “Slavic World in the Third Millennium” aims to publish, after peer-review, articles that make a significant contribution to history, linguistics, literary studies, or cultural history.
Papers at the intersection of humanities and social disciplines and beyond (ethnology, social anthropology, sociology, art history, etc.) are welcomed.
The journal publishes articles on the following topics: the history, languages, literature, and culture of the peoples of Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe (both foreign Slavs and their neighbours in the region); the languages, literature, and cultures of the peoples of Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe, including the Russian language and culture, outside the historical area (in the Baltic area, North and South America, Asia, etc.); the forms of interaction and mutual influence of Russia (USSR) and the peoples of Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe: international relations, migration processes, and dialogue between cultures.
