Aims & Scope
The Serials Librarian is an international journal focusing on scholarly communication and all aspects of serials and other continuing resources (e-books, monographic series, databases).
Topics for papers and case studies may reflect the full life cycle of print and electronic scholarly resources, ranging from publishing and purchase to usage analysis and deselection.
Submissions may address fundamental or tertiary concerns—peer review, cataloging, resource discovery or consortia developments, for instance.
The journal provides a forum for discussion and innovation throughout the serials/scholarly resources information chain, and accepts contributions from librarians, publishers, database creators, subscription agents, technology providers and others who provide content to library users.
Accepted articles may be either theoretical or practical in nature.
