Aims & Scope

Seeds (ISSN 2674-1024) is an international, scientific, open access journal that provides an advanced forum for studies related to seed science, technology, and biology.

It publishes review articles, regular research articles, communications, and short notes.

The aim of Seeds is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.

Therefore, the journal has no restrictions regarding the length of papers.

Full experimental details should be provided so that the results can be reproduced.

Seed science is a broad area that covers a range of topics, from more biological-related aspects (physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology, dormancy, omics) to technological approaches (seed priming, seed production, seed establishment, among others).

Seeds accepts submissions on all research on seeds, from fertilization until the formation of a new plant, as well as on environmental policies, ecology, and other factors that might affect seed formation, development, and occurrence.
