Aims and Scope

The Scientific Journal of Informatics aims to publish high-quality, original research and review articles in the field of Informatics and Computer Science. The journal focuses on the development, application, and rigorous evaluation of Advanced Computational Methods, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science to address complex real-world challenges.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, innovative research in the following areas:

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

The journal publishes research on novel algorithms and architectures, ensemble learning, and data challenges and preprocessing in AI and ML. This includes the development and comparison of ML/DL models for classification and prediction, evaluation and optimization of ensemble methods, and techniques for mitigating issues like class imbalance and feature extraction/dimension reduction.

Deep Learning and Computer Vision

The journal publishes research on convolutional neural networks (CNNs), hybrid and concatenated architectures, and image analysis tasks in computer vision. This includes research on CNN architectures, the impact of optimization functions on model performance, and advanced techniques for image classification, image similarity detection, and multi-object segmentation.

Data Science and Advanced Analytics

The journal publishes research on pattern detection and data mining, time series analysis and forecasting, and domain-specific applications in data science and advanced analytics. This includes performance evaluation of data mining algorithms, application of advanced decomposition and clustering methods, and predictive modeling for crucial business metrics and economic forecasting.

Applied Informatics (Domain-Specific Applications)

The journal publishes research on health and medical informatics, agricultural informatics, and business and economic informatics.
