Aims & Scope

The Revista General de Derecho Constitucional emerged at a time of deep and intense political and academic debate, which affected some of the key elements of our constitutional order.

The first issue was published in April 2006, when matters such as the constitutional reform proposed by the Government and reported by the Council of State, the statutory reform processes -at the center of the ongoing debate on the limits of the political autonomy provided for by our Constitution-, the reform of the Organic Law of the Constitutional Court or the debate on the so-called "European Constitution" were being debated, to mention just a sufficiently significant sample.
