Objective and Scope
Revista Digital de IconografÃa Medieval (RDIM) is a journal dedicated to the study of medieval image and culture. Our primary objective is to understand and highlight the richness and variety of medieval art through the analysis of its thematic repertoire, including the Bible and Apocrypha, bestiary, hagiography, secular and scientific subjects, Islamic iconography, and more.
RDIM is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles in both print and electronic formats. Our electronic edition is available under the e-ISSN 2254-853X and follows an open-access policy, allowing readers to freely access, download, print, copy, and distribute articles as long as proper citation is provided. Our journal is committed to promoting the understanding and appreciation of medieval art and culture, and we welcome contributions from scholars, researchers, and students in the field.
