Aims & Scope

Revista de História (RH), an official publication of the Departamento de História of the Faculdade de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas of the Universidade de São Paulo (DH/FFLCH/USP), is one of Brazil’s oldest specialized History journals, founded in 1950 by professor Eurípedes Simões de Paula.

Revista de História dedicates itself to the publication of original articles, as well as translations, book reviews and critical editions of documents in the History area and related fields of study.

Texts in Spanish may be published, as long as they are previously approved by the Editorial Committee.

RH is released every semester, and has the financial support of both of the History Department’s post-graduate programs – Social History Studies and Economic History Studies – and of USP’s Scientific Periodic Publications Supporting Programme.
