Aims & Scope

The Revista d'Arqueologia de Ponent (RAP) is an annual publication that primarily features articles on Prehistory, Archaeology, and Ancient History of the Iberian Peninsula and its relationships with Europe and the Mediterranean.

The journal covers both theoretical and methodological aspects, as well as the presentation of excavation results, syntheses, and critical studies. The official language of the RAP is Catalan, but it also accepts articles in all official languages of the State, as well as in English, Italian, French, and German.

The RAP applies a double-blind peer review system for each submitted work. It has obtained the Sello de Calidad de las Revistas Científicas Españolas (Quality Seal of Spanish Scientific Journals) from the FECYT (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology) in the VI evaluation call.
