Revista Colombiana de Antropologia
Published by Instituto Colombiano de Antropologia e Historia (Journal Finder)
ISSN : 0486-6525
Abbreviation : Rev. Colomb. Antropol.
Aims & Scope
First published in 1953 as the official diffusion organ of the newly created Colombian Institute of Anthropology, it replaced the Journal of the National Ethnological Institute (Revista del Instituto Etnológico Nacional) and the Bulletin of Archaeology (Boletín de Arqueología).
Since then the RCA has reflected disciplinary trends in the country and has served as a venue for advancing research in various fields and critical discussion at the national and international level.
The RCA is directed to the community of researchers, teachers, professionals, and students of anthropology and the social sciences.
The RCA receives unpublished contributions in Spanish: original research articles, reflection articles, review articles, short articles, case reports, and reviews.
Its structure includes several sections: a thematic dossier, a methods section, miscellaneous contributions, and reviews.
