Aims & Scope
Review of Education is an international peer reviewed journal for the publication of major and substantial articles of interest to researchers in education.
It is a growing focal point for the publication of educational research from throughout the world, and on topics of international interest.
It is one of the journals in the major portfolio of publications produced by the British Educational Research Association.
The Journal specialises in publishing substantial papers (8,000–20,000 words) in order to give authors the opportunity to describe major projects or ideas more fully than would otherwise be possible.
The editors may occasionally accept briefer articles of special interest, or which relate to material previously published in the journal.
Review of Education is interdisciplinary in approach, and publishes the results of major studies and in‐depth reviews that are significant, wide‐ranging and insightful, and have a genuinely international reach and orientation.
Covering all tiers and types of education, it publishes papers of the highest quality, including but not limited to reports of major studies, substantial research syntheses, original state-of-the-art reviews, literature reviews, systematic reviews, negative findings, replication and confirmatory studies.
