Aims & Scope

Archaeological Raport is an archaeological annual with articles in Polish and English.

Published by the National Institute of Cultural Heritage of Poland, it is mainly addressed to archaeologists from Poland and Central Europe.

Its primary focus is the broad range of issues related to development-led archaeology, including the results of archaeological fieldwork.

The first volume of Raport was published in 2001.

As intended, it focused on the promulgation of reports of archaeological excavations carried out within the national programme of roads and motorways construction.

New experiences and ongoing discussions inside the archaeological milieu induced the editor to transform the then-existing Report series into an annual.
