Aims & Scope

The Quaderni fiorentini per la storia del pensiero giuridico moderno (“Florentine journal for the history of modern juridical doctrines”), ISSN 0392-1867, is an annual journal, founded by Paolo Grossi in 1972.

The journal is characterised by an ongoing dialogue between legal historians and jurists, enriched by the constant contribution of social scientists and philosophers.

The aim of the journal is to increase the historical study of modern juridical doctrines, thereby promoting a deeper understanding of current legal systems and their cultural and social roots.
