Published by Firenze University Press
ISSN : 0392-6753 eISSN : 2724-4679
Abbreviation : Quad. dell'osservatorio Elettorale
Aims & Scope
Founded in 1977 on the initiative of the Study Group on Electoral Behavior established at the Regional Council of Tuscany, the journal has been directed by Mario Caciagli since 1980 and has established itself as a point of reference in this field of studies both in Italy and abroad.
QOE is published biannually, in June and December.
Each issue features three original essays and two regular columns (Elections in the World and Elections in Italy).
For the Elections in Italy column, QOE avail themselves of the collaboration of CISE (Italian Center for Electoral Studies).
Starting with Notebook 73, 1 (June), 2015, QOE essays are subjected to the scrutiny of the scientific community before publication through a rigorous process of anonymous evaluation, which guarantees the highest academic standards.
Quaderni has been characterized since the beginning by a strong internationalization, both of the collaborators and of the topics addressed, which range over all aspects of electoral studies.
In addition to the contributions of prestigious election scholars, the journal also hosts and encourages the works of young researchers.
