Aims & Scope

„Przegląd Zachodniopomorski” (West Pomeranian Review) is a yearly (until 2020 a quarterly) published since 1963.

Its direct predecessor was a monthly, and then bi-monthly “Szczecin”, published since 1957.

The first Editor-in-Chief of the quarterly was Professor Henryk Lesiński (1963-1985).

The journal publishes scientific articles primarily in the field of history, but also of social sciences (sociology, political science).

The latter report findings that can support the historical research and are related territorially to West Pomerania and the adjacent lands.

The leading language is Polish but also articles in English and German are accepted for publication.
