Aims & Scope

Prima: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika is a scientific, peer-reviewed and open access journal that publishes original research on mathematics learning. It aims to be a platform for disseminating ideas and research on how students learn mathematics and how mathematics is taught in primary, secondary or undergraduate level.

The journal focuses on four main scopes:

Developing mathematics learning integrated with values or character and developing mathematics learning based on the constructivist perspective are two scopes that explore mathematics learning from different perspectives. The third scope is the development of technological-based mathematics learning tools and its use in mathematics classroom, which focuses on the use of technology to support mathematics learning. The fourth scope is the development of pedagogical content knowledge for in-service and prospective mathematics teachers, which aims to prepare and support prospective mathematics teachers on pedagogical content knowledge.
