Aims and Scope

The Pretextos journal aims to serve as a platform for publishing and valuing the practices carried out by undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty members, in the field of Psychology at PUC Minas and other higher education institutions. Our goal is to provide a space for the dissemination of scientific works that contribute to the advancement of Psychology, through the diversity of theoretical and methodological perspectives presented, as well as critical understanding of the phenomena addressed.

The journal accepts articles originating from undergraduate works, which are the result of theoretical and methodological reflections, with or without empirical data analysis, produced from graduation monographs and experiences of scientific initiation, internship, or extension. We also consider articles from postgraduate students, faculty members, and researchers in the field of Psychology.
