Aims & Scope
Present Environment and Sustainable Development(ISSN 1843-5971) is a multi-disciplinary , open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research on pressing environmental challenges and innovative solutions for a sustainable future.
Core areas of focus: - Environmental Science: Examining physical, chemical, and biological processes in the environment.
This includes research on ecosystem dynamics, biodiversity conservation, ecological modeling, pollution control, air and water quality management, waste management, soil science, environmental chemistry, toxicology, remote sensing, environmental GIS, and ecohydrology. - Geography: Exploring the spatial and temporal dimensions of environmental phenomena and human-environment interactions.
This encompasses research on physical geography (geomorphology, hydrology, climatology), human geography (cultural, economic, political, urban), social-ecological systems, spatial analysis, regional development, and landscape change. - Sustainable Development: Investigating theoretical frameworks, concepts, and practical approaches to achieve a more equitable and resilient future.
We welcome research on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustainable development indicators, sustainability assessment, and sustainable development planning.
