Aims & Scope

Prace Literaturoznawcze is a scholarly journal which publishes up-to-date research papers devoted to both Polish and foreign literature in various contexts: historical and theoretical, comparative, cultural and anthropological ones.

It is a forum for presenting original research concerning contemporary literary and theatre criticism, past and modern literary culture, literature of Warmia and Mazury, popular literature and welcomes contemporary literature and specialist methodologies.

Papers published in the journal constitute an inspiring voice for contemporary literary discourse.

Thematic areas include: “Universal Values”, “In the Search of Form and Model of Interpretation”, “Themes and Forms of Women’s Writing”, “Genres”, and “Regional Topics”.

Each issue additionally includes a set of reviews concerning outstanding critical and literary research papers written by academics from Olsztyn, as well as reports with respect to important meetings and conferences.
