Aims & Scope
Photochem (ISSN 2673-7256) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal (free for readers).
The aim of the journal is to provide a platform for research into all aspects of photochemistry.
The subject stands as the principal artery into the heart of interactions of UV, visible, and IR radiation with molecules and materials.
Photochemistry has important associations across a wide spectrum of science, including physics, organic and inorganic chemistry, materials science, biology and medicine.
Photochem publishes regular research articles, reviews and short notes.
Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.
Therefore, there is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers.
For theory papers, full details of proofs must be provided so that results can be checked.
For experimental papers, full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced.
Additionally, electronic files or software regarding the full details of the calculations, experimental procedure, etc, can be deposited along with the publication as 'Supplementary Material'.
Scope: • organic photochemistry • synthetic photochemistry • photocatalysis • photofunctionalization • photobiology • medicinal photochemistry • computational photochemistry • photoelectrochemistry • solar energy conversion • condensed and gas phase photochemistry • polymer photochemistry • supramolecular photochemistry • photochromism • luminescent sensors • photochemistry for environmental remediation • atmospheric photochemistry • interstellar photochemistry • photochemistry on ices • prebiotic photochemistry • laser photochemistry • synchrotron radiation chemistry • processes and techniques in photochemistry • plant photochemistry
