Aims & Scope
Philologia Hispalensis is a scientific, linguistic and philological international journal with annual periodicity which conforms to the double-blind peer-reviewed.
It was founded in 1986 and since 2016, the journal’s regular format consists of one annual volumen consisting of two issues, one dedicated to Linguistic studies and another to Literary studies, in which all the original works related to the different classical, Spanish, English, German, French, Italian and linguistic and cultural studies of the Arab world have a place, without discarding works related to other linguistic areas.
Each issue consists of two fixed sections, one for articles that communicate original research results and another for reviews of relevant scientific works in the field of language, languages and their literatures.
When appropriate, the section devoted to scientific articles may be subdivided into two sections: monographic section, dedicated to a specific topic, and miscellaneous section, with free themed contributions.
Articles may be published in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese as well as Spanish.
