Aims & Scope

Pessoa Plural was established in 2012 as an international peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to studies of Fernando Pessoa.

We publish two issues per year through the joint publishing efforts of the Department of Portuguese and Brazilian Studies at Brown University, the Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies at Warwick University and the Department of Humanities and Literature of the University of the Andes.

We welcome submissions in the form of essays, documents, and commissioned book reviews.

We are an open access journal, and all of our digital archives can be accessed for free through Brown's Digital Repository.

We abide by the COPE Code of Conduct for all issues related to Ethics and Publication Malpractice.

Pessoa Plural's ethical statement, the details of our peer review process, and our submission guidelines can be found and downloaded below.
