The aim of Paladyn is to become a premier source of knowledge and a worldwide-recognized platform of exchange for scientists of different disciplinary origins and backgrounds (e.g., engineers, computer scientists, physicists, neuroscientists, psychologists, sociologists) who are inspired by the analogy between robotic autonomy and human behaviour. -cognitive robotics -developmental robotics -affective robotics -evolutionary robotics, genetic algorithms -artificial life, artificial intelligence -assistance robotics -visual cognition, computer vision -neurally inspired robotics, animats -neural networks, neural computation -humanoids -human-robot interaction, symbiotic robots -machine learning, adaptation and imitation -development of language, speech recognition -emergent behaviors of mobile robots -multi-robot systems, swarm robotics, robot self-organization -computer-brain interfaces -decision-making in autonomous robots -and other related The journal considers submissions of different types of articles. "Research Articles" are focused on fundamental theoretical aspects, as well as on significant applications in science, engineering etc. “Rapid Communications” are intended to present information of exceptional novelty and exciting results of significant interest to the readers. “Review articles” and “Commentaries”, which present the existing literature on the specific topic from new perspectives, are welcome as well.
