Pain Research and Management is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal which publishes original research articles, review articles and clinical studies involving laboratory, including neuroimaging and neurophysiology, and clinical findings in the field of pain research.

The journal also looks into the prevention, treatment and management of pain.

The journal aims at increasing the current knowledge about the pain mechanisms and encouraging the development of effective and safety treatments for pain.
