Aims & Scope
Notizie di Politeia (ISSN 1128-2401) is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal which hosts unpublished contributions, in Italian or in English, on a broad range of topics related to ethics and political philosophy and tackled from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The approach of the journal is in the vein of analytical philosophy, broadly conceived as that intellectual frame inclined to rigour and exactness.
In the last three decades, Notizie di Politeia has been promoting an intense exchange of relations among different branches of social sciences, including political science, law, economics, and practical ethics.
Notizie di Politeia is the journal of the Research Centre “Politeia”, an independent, non-profit organisation established in 1983 in Italy to foster and provide theoretical analysis and practical training in politics and ethics, with a particular focus on applied ethics (business ethics, bioethics, IT ethics, etc.).
Started in 1985 as a newsletter, hence its name, Notizie di Politeia rapidly evolved into an academic journal, publishing a wide range of papers examining both the conceptual and the empirical aspects of the various topics treated.
