The Nordic Journal of Education and Practice (Nordisk tidsskrift for utdanning og praksis) focuses on the field of education in schools and vocational and professional development.

The journal emphasizes the relationship between education and practice and aims to promote research relevant for a broad field within education.

This entails interdisciplinary themes such as leadership, organizational development, teaching and learning in practice, as well as research questions related to pedagogy and subject didactics.

The journal welcomes research on the practical aspects of education on all levels of the educational system, from kindergarten/pre-school to higher education.

The journal seeks articles that report on empirical research but will also accept articles with a more theoretical or methodological approach as long as they are in line with the scope of the journal.
