Aims & Scope

Nordic Journal of Urban Studies aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary urban studies in the Nordic region. By bringing together scholars from various disciplines, we seek to create a common ground for researchers to engage in dialogue and share knowledge on urban issues.

The journal focuses on exploring the complexities of urban development, including segregation, livability, access to affordable housing, economic marginalization, and social inequality. We encourage authors to submit articles that convey a strong sense of urban place, highlighting the unique challenges and opportunities faced by cities in the Nordic region.

Our goal is to establish a leading international journal that showcases the best of Nordic urban research, while also contributing to the global conversation on sustainable urban development.
