Aims & Scope

NORBA, Revista de Arte is an annual publication of the University of Extremadura, which has been published regularly since 1980 (initial titles: Norba, Revista de Arte, Geografía e Historia [1980-1983] and Norba-Arte [1984-2005]).

Its aim is to promote and communicate original research studies that contribute to greater knowledge and enrichment within the area of Art History.

Norba.

Revista de Arte invites researchers from all over the world to present their original works within its sections.

Its contents cover the whole of Art History and related disciplines.

It consists of the following sections: Articles, Varia which collects news or brief scientific research, Bibliographic Comments and List of research work carried out in the Art History section of the Department of Art and Science of the University of Extremadura.

The papers in the Articles and Varia sections are approved according to the traditional "peer review" system: at least two experts in the field must give their approval before publication.

Therefore, only original and unpublished research articles are accepted.
