Aims & Scope
Musikk og tradisjon er et fagfellebasert vitskapleg tidsskrift som presenterer forsking innanfor området som International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM) dekker, det vil si tradisjonell musikk og dans i vid tyding.
Tidsskriftet tar imot artiklar med ulike perspektiv på tradisjonell musikk og dans som eit breitt definert felt, og kan vera musikkvitskaplege i tradisjonell forstand, eller ha eit kultur- eller samfunnsvitskapleg utgangspunkt.
Artiklane kan vera historisk orienterte eller setja søkjelys på samtida, og leggja til grunn empiriske og/eller teoretiske perspektiv.
