Aims & Scope

Metaphysics is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal that publishes current research in the field of metaphysics. The journal is administered by the Metaphysics Collaborative, an international organization founded in 2015 to facilitate collaboration among metaphysicians worldwide.

The journal focuses on contemporary and historical metaphysical topics that engage with themes from the Aristotelian and neo-Aristotelian traditions. Articles can be submitted at any time, and those received after the cut-off date for the current issue will automatically be considered for publication in future issues.

The journal is committed to open access and transparency, providing immediate access to its content and making research freely available to the public. Authors retain copyright and grant third parties the right to use, reproduce, and share articles according to the Creative Commons license agreement.
